Protect heat transfer equipment. Improve operational performance.
Scale Free Systems provides physics-based treatment for cooling towers, chillers, boilers and other critical heat exchange equipment—addressing scale, corrosion and biological fouling at the equipment level.
We treat the equipment, not the water.

control
Engineered electrical conditions are part of the SFS approach to managing deposits and corrosion. Biological control may also use copper-silver ionization where specified.
Three critical problems. One equipment-focused approach.
Designed for facility operators who need reliable heat transfer, reduced maintenance burden and a more efficient water treatment strategy.
Control Mineral Scale
Mineral deposits insulate heat transfer surfaces and can increase energy demand. SFS is designed to discourage scale adhesion and support removal of existing deposits over time.
Discuss scale control →Manage Corrosion
Corrosion threatens equipment reliability and service life. SFS targets electrical conditions associated with corrosion at equipment surfaces.
Discuss corrosion →Address Biological Fouling
Biofilm and microbial growth can interfere with operation. Where applicable, SFS integrates copper-silver ionization as part of a site-specific biological control program.

Scale buildup and reduced heat transfer
Review fouling history, approach temperatures, inspection findings and current treatment practices. SFS can assess whether equipment-level scale control is appropriate for your system.

Conventional chemical programs primarily manage water chemistry. Scale Free Systems instead focuses on the physical and electrical environment of the equipment where deposits and corrosion occur.
Applications are assessed individually. Treatment configuration, monitoring and any supplemental water-management requirements depend on system design, operating conditions and site-specific performance objectives.

Does Scale Free Systems treat the equipment or change the water chemistry?
SFS emphasizes equipment-level physical and electrical control rather than relying on continuous chemical dosing as its primary scale and corrosion treatment method. Some installations may require additional water management or biological controls.
Can SFS be used on cooling towers, chillers and boilers?
These are core target applications. Suitability and system design should be confirmed through a site-specific technical evaluation.
Does SFS eliminate all chemicals from every facility?
Not necessarily. Chemical requirements depend on the installation, water quality, biological risk and applicable safety standards. Claims of fully chemical-free operation should be evaluated for each site.
How do we know whether the system is working?
Performance should be assessed using agreed baseline and follow-up measures, such as equipment inspection, approach temperatures, energy use, water consumption, corrosion monitoring and biological testing as appropriate.
