SFI process. Prior to the SFI treatment they had been frequently and

The SFI water treatment processes are best applied:
Where the use of chemicals for water treatment including biocide control are
to be eliminated.
Where space requirements do not allow installation of lime softening equipment
or ion exchange equipment. The SFI system is very space efficient.
Where frequent system shutdowns are required for de-scaling.
Where in remote locations the delivery of chemicals and labor costs make conventional
water treatment methods cost prohibitive.
