Scale Free Systems - Algae Control
SCALE FREE systems is a non-chemical,
non-magnetic, environmentally friendly method developed to control
the most basic problems of water treatment. The SFS method addresses
the four primary concerns of water treatment for boilers, heat
exchangers, chillers, cooling towers, evaporative condensers, etc.
as follows;
1) MICROBIOLOGICAL CONTROL
SFS ’s microbiological control is achieved by the utilization of a
non-polluting copper/silver ionization process that eliminates algae
and bacteria growth. The SFS microprocessor control is set for
automatic application of copper silver ions and is not affected by
environmental conditions of water chemistry (pH, alkalinity, etc.).
2) CONDUCTIVITY/SUSPENDED SOLIDS
Conductivity control for cooling tower and evaporative condensers
are monitored and regulated by the SFS microprocessor control and
conductivity probe. The control unit incorporates upper and lower
level set points for operation of electric solenoid valve.
Suspended solids control can be achieved via side stream filtration
and is highly recommended.
